Rentrm is a rental property management platform for Indian property owners and tenants. We do not sell your data. We do not send spam. This policy explains exactly what we collect and why.
Rentrm is an independent online platform that helps property owners in India manage rental properties, collect rent via UPI, and track tenant payments. We are not affiliated with any bank, UPI app, or financial institution.
We collect only the information needed to provide our service:
Rentrm does not process payments. When a tenant pays rent, they open their own UPI app (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, etc.) and make the payment directly to the owner's UPI ID. Rentrm only records the transaction reference (UTR) that the tenant submits for the owner to verify. We never handle or hold any money.
If you (as an owner) choose to make your property listing public, the listing will appear on Rentrm's public search page at rentrm.com/search. This includes property details and photos you upload. Contact information shown is limited to what you explicitly provide. You can hide or delete your listing at any time from your dashboard.
We use industry-standard security practices: HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, and access controls. Your data is stored on secure servers. While no system is 100% secure, we take all reasonable measures to protect your information.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us. You may update your personal information from your profile settings at any time.
We use only a session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies beyond what you configure in Admin Settings (e.g. Google Analytics, which is optional).
